Hmmm, I need another hat like John needs another bottle of hairspray, but I have a pathetic fettish. There, now you know my horrific secret. I've just had a really long day and I need something to cheer me up. Did I mention I'm volunteering at a hospital, an old age home, and a medical clinic. Yes, how cool am I. *rolls eyes* Anyway, I've spent the entire week trying to find the right hat, and I've come to the conclusion that I have no fashion sense whatsover. That would be my second horrific secret.

So I'm entrusting the flist with this decision, considering I couldn't find anything I liked at the mall.

Okay, so the Christian Audigier is $100 with free shipping. Brown velvet, SO beautiful... and Hayden wore one to the the Movie Awards. The two Von Dutch hats are about $50 each with shipping = incredibly shiny to look at. I just want one though, out of all of them. I don't think I could pull off owning two Von Dutch-es for the price of one Christian Audigier. Talk about trying too hard. *snorts*

You know what's sad? I had to photoshop my thumb out of most of these pics. *snorts* Here's a public post, so my sister who's allll the way in the Caribbean can see Obi... he's six-ish months old, an orange tabby. Height of cuteness and charm, but a little on the dumb side. He spent twenty minutes with his forehead pressed up against the screen, trying to figure out my laptop. Then I played him a movie, which really blew his mind. *giggles*

Why won’t Girl-who-shall-not-be-named (GWSNBN) shut up? I mean some people just shouldn’t speak at all, because they’re a waste of perfectly good oxygen— oxygen which could be used for more important things, like corrosion or pyromania. The second she walks in, all she does is talk about herself the ENTIRE time. You can’t get a word in edgewise. It’s not like I didn’t try.

AHHHHHHHHH!!

My season 8 is here! Why is it here?? It was supposed to come on Monday, dammit! I shrieked at the delivery guy when he handed it to me. He actually jumped.

This is awful. I can't watch it. I have an exam on Saturday that I haven't studied for.

OMG, I want to watch it.

But I have an exam. I still haven't memorized the structures of the amino acids yet.

Gah! I haven't opened it. If I do, I'll spend the rest of the day watching it and I won't get any work done.

*cries*

Okay, I opened it. Just to look, I'm not going to actually watch it. Well... maybe I'll just watch one. Or three.

I'm SO not gonna be able to BS my way into 90's like I did in the last midterms. Bastards.

As you can clearly see from my stressing, I need to take a hiatus from my LJ for just a little while. I'll still be around, just not every other second like I'm used to. In the mean time, I'd like to leave you all with this pic I got in an e-mail. I find it quite intropective. Life would be so much simpler if we all were bunnies... or pancakes. Although, we'd run the risk of getting eaten, or turned into J-Lo's hat.

Family ties aside, I honestly think my parents like the cat more than they like me.

Just an observation.

I mean, the fur ball sits around all day, stares adoringly into their eyes, and ignores anyone who doesn't have power... (ie. me).

So deeper meaning? Life is like a cat. It pretends to be nice to you for a little while, then leaves the dead mouse on your balcony and somehow you get the blame.

I'm obviously tired. I think I need coffee, and sleep.

And why do people feel the need to call for random chats? Especially when you've *just* seen them three hours ago. Then they get all offended when you make up some lame excuse about how the dog is on fire you so need to hang up. Probably should work on those excuses.
